Biggest Upgrades from the Previous Year
There are many new features in this year’s lineup, and some of them are standard. The 2023 lineup includes a rear door alert, remote engine start, heated outside mirrors, an auto-dimming and frameless rearview mirror, and wireless charging. The flagship model, the QX50 Sensory, comes with a 16-speaker Bose Premium Sound System. There are also new interior colours: Monaco Red and Pebble Grey.
Trim Comparison
The most significant differences between the three trims are the interior and exterior features, which we’ll cover below. Engine performance and mechanical specifications are the same. The QX50 Pure sells at $49,495, QX50 Sport at $55,995, and QX50 Sensory at $57,995.
Interior Layout and Options
The entry-level model comes with leatherette upholstery. Meanwhile, the other trims have perforated leather seats. All trims come with leather-wrapped steering wheels, paddle shifters, power-adjustable front seats with eight options, and foldable rear seats.
Some features are exclusive to the flagship model, such as the Ultrasuede upper door, a power telescoping steering column, and four lumbar adjustments for the passenger seats.
Exterior Layout and Options
Standard features for all trims include LED signature daylight running lamps, LED front fog lights, auto on/off headlamps, and acoustic glass. There are also options which are unavailable for the entry-level trim. They include an adaptive front light system, chrome inner tail lamp, body-coloured door handles, rear doorstep lamps, and a panoramic moonroof.
Each trim comes with different wheels. The QX50 Pure has 19-inch silver-painted aluminum alloy wheels, and the Sport has 20-inch dark-painted, machine-finished wheels. The Sensory has 20-inch dark-painted wheels.
Technology, Infotainment, and Connectivity
All trims come equipped with an INFINITI InTouch dual display. One screen has 8 inches, and the other 7 inches; both are HD touchscreen displays. Other standard features for all models include voice recognition, wireless charging, Siri Eyes Free, USB ports, and active noise cancellation. Additionally, there’s SiriusXM Satellite Radio, WiFi hotspot, and HD radio for all models.
Some luxury features are available only for the QX50 Sport and QX50 Sensory. Those include a Bose Premium Sound System with 12 speakers (Sport), or 16 speakers (Sensory), 3D navigation with five years of complimentary access MapCare, SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link.
Safety and Driver-Assistance Features
The new QX50 lineup has a long list of safety features which are available across all models. There are airbags in the front, on the sides, and on the roof, forward emergency braking, forward collision warning, ProPilot Assist, intelligent cruise control, rearview monitor, and rear automatic braking.
