1.5 million hours in R&D to redesign the 2022 QX60

It took about 1.5 million hours to redesign the new 2022 QX60, and the result shows both inside and outside. It provides superb comfort for drivers and passengers, with zero-gravity seats developed by NASA. The interior design has been considerably upgraded in this version.

The new seats for QX60 are designed for long journeys, and they massage the passengers every 11 minutes. The second row has a removable center console, which can increase space and facilitate access to the third row when removed. There’s space for six passengers (with a captain’s seat) or seven passengers on normal seating.

The infotainment system is controlled via a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, and it’s possible to include a head-up display of 10.8-inch. This system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There’s also a convenient array of driving assists, including ’s intelligent cruise control, steering, and speed assists.

The 3.5L V6 engine is the same as in the previous version. It delivers 270 lb.-ft of torque, and 295 hp, making it reach 100km/h in just under 7 seconds. Compared with its predecessor, the 9-speed CVT transmission is an upgrade and has an increased  towing capacity of 6,000lb, 1,00 lb more than the 2021 lineup. As for fuel efficiency, it runs 11.9km/L in the city and 9.56km/L on highway conditions.

The new 2022 QX60 not only delivers on performance, but also offers top-notch comfort. It’s a very stable vehicle in highway conditions, and everyone inside has a quieter journey. The new version comes with thicker glasses and sound-deadening systems. The starting price for the 2022 QX60 base model is $55,245.
